Chenganoor - base for six Divya Desam - Thiru vallavazh and five Pancha pandava divya desam which includes - ThiruChittaru (Yudistir), Thiru Puliyur (Bheem) Aranmula (arjun), Thiruvanvandoor (Nakul), Thirukodithanam (Sahadeva - magically gifted). and Thiruvallavazh .Vallaba ksetram.

1) *ARPUTHA NARAYANAN DIVYA DESAM AT THIRU KADITHANAM*
This Divya Desam is located at 4 kms east of the Chenganancheri Railway Station.

Significances:
One of the five Pancha Pandava temples (Anjambalams)
One of the three Kadigai Kshetrams in India, the other two being Thiru Kadigai in Sholingur (Chennai) and Thiru Kandam (Kadinagar) in Devapriya (North). Stay here for one Kadigai (24 minutes) to attain Moksham.
Sahadeva created the Krishna Idol and built this Arputha Narayana temple


2) *THIRUVAZH MARBAN IN THIRUVALLA (THIRUVALLAVAZH)*
Thiruvalla is about 11 kms South of Thiru Kadithanam (Chenganacheri )
Divya desam and the temple is about 3 kms from the Thiru Valla Railway station.

Significances: There are references to the Thiruvalla Lord in Garuda Puranam and Matsya Puranam.

3. *PAMBANAI APPAN TEMPLE AT THIRU VANVANDUR*
The temple is located at about 5 kms South West of Thiruvalla on the Erimala route, on the banks of the Pamba River.

4. *THIRUCHITTARU IMAYAVARAPPAN TEMPLE AT CHENGANNUR*
Located at about 1km West of the Chengannur Railway Station is the East facing Imayavarappan Divya Desam in Chengannur. This Chengannur Divya Desam is better known as the Dharma Raja temple or Thiru Chitraru Vishnu temple in Thiru Chenkundroor.

5. *MAYAPIRAN TEMPLE AT PULIYUR (KUTTA NAADU)*
Located 6 kms West of Chengannur Railway Station on the Mavelikera State Highway is the Maya Piran Divya Desam in Thiru Puliyur.

7. *SRI PARTHASARATHY TEMPLE IN ARANMULA (THIRUVAARANVILAI)*
Aranmula is located 10 kms East of Chengannur on the Southern banks of the Pamba river. Almost the entire stretch from Chengannur to Aranmula runs alongside the Pamba river.

  1. Thank you for the post. It very useful was useful during my recent visit. My journey was as follows:
    1st day afternoon: Covered Trivandrum. There is a museum near temple depicting Travancore king's history and it was very nice. Annaporana hotel ~400 metres from temple (near Pazhavangadi Ganapathi Temple) serves very good vegetarian food.

    2nd day 1st half (can cover in 4 hours and better to start at 5AM): Chengannur temples.
    Stayed at hotel offshore square. Hotel is clean and they offer rooms on hourly basis too. There is a hotel Aryaas in the ground floor and they serve good Veg menu.

    Availed auto of Venu Gopalan Nair 9400952177 through driver Selvan. Auto fair Rs.1200-1400.
    For taxi one can reach Selvan through 9495873541. For Indica they charge Rs 2200.

    2nd day 2nd half: Took auto from Aluva station and visited 2 divya desams. Auto fare 1000 Rupees.
