1975 onwards my grandpa doing annadanam in thiruchendur every year Sasti. In 1979  Meenakshi temple priest Mr.Sankara patta(late) asked my father “1st time our Temple stating 6day kanda sashti at  "koodal kumaran" in Meenakshi inner parakaram ”, my father accept , every year 3 day Sasti ours ..

மீனாட்சியம்மன் கோயிலில் அம்மன் சன்னிதி வாயிலின் வழியாக உள்ளே சென்றோமானால் அஷ்ட சக்தி மண்டபம் இருக்கும். அதைத் தாண்டியவுடன் ஒரு பெரிய மண்டபத்தில் ஏராளமான பூக்கடைகள் தென்படும். அதற்கும் அப்பால் ஒரு கோபுரவாசல். அதைத் தாண்டிச் சென்றால் ஒரு ஆறுகால் மண்டம இருக்கும். மிக அழகிய தூண்களில் உயிரோட்டமுள்ள சிலைகள் இருக்கும். இங்குதான் குறவன் குறத்தி சிலை என்ற புகழ்பெற்ற சிலைகள் இருக்கின்றன.
    இந்த மண்டபத்துக்கும் அடுத்தாற்போல இன்னொரு கோபுரவாசல். அதையும் தாண்டிச் சென்றால் பொற்றாமரைக் குளம் வரும். அந்தக் கோபுர வாசலின் இருபக்கங்களிலும் விநாயகர், முருகன் சன்னிதிகள் இருக்கின்றன.
    விநாயகர் சன்னிதியில் இருப்பவர் நர்த்தன விநாயகர்.

Meenakshi Temple my dad while crossing Iruttu Mandapam, he will ask himself   "Why Ganesa and Subramanian idols right and left corner , No gopuram but only having  granite pillar’s structures ?".

Madurai Meenakshi Temple kumbabishekam fixed 7 July 1995 , that time Temple PWD  engineer Mr.Sridaran sir , down very amusing job to getting donor to help for kumbabishekam  , he also ask my dad to renovate Iruttu Mandapam . At that time only we came to know that is “Mudali Mandapam”.This was constructed by Kadanthai Mudaliar in 1613 .

'Dream came true to .. ', my Dad  accepts to do renovate but  he requested to  “Build new small gopuram to Ganesa and Subramanian idols”. Mr.Sridaran sir told “i will try to get permission from temple endowment board” and he give order to renovate Iruttu Mandapam [Mudali Mandapam].

Now I am proudly say … " My dad name also in Meenakshi Temple history to Build two small gopuram . I think now this is last gopuram to build in Meenakshi Temple too .."

Wedding Feast

15 years ago,  Madurai Meenakshi Amman Temple Executive officer Mr.Thenaya approached to my dad , “During Meenakshi Tirukkalyanam we are giving food to employees , priest and police bought from hotel only,  You do something for your Pazhamutirsolai Bhaktha Sabhai  .."

Inside temple our Bhaktha Sabhai started Meenakshi Tirukkalyanam Virundhu [Wedding Feast] around 1,500 devotees took part in the feast, but this year Kalyanam virundhu has grown over 50,000  devotees at Sethupathi school , Madurai . 

Vadakku Aadi 27 nagaraja idols....

 In year 2002  Near to North tower arasa and neem maram fully vanish [ Dead ]  and around  most of  nagaraja idols broken ..  Our family friend Prof.Ilango [ late] in agriculture collage with his guide, my dad plant new arasa and neem maram and also installed 27 new nagaraja idols around arasa and neem maram .. 

 Just few month ago my dad say story about “Big nagaraja idols” …  He order 27 nagaraja idols to Sthapati  in  pasumalai , but he Sculpture only 22 .. Near to that place another Sthapati having big nagaraja  idol , he told 3 years before from …village person order and given advance to make big nagaraja Sculpture to their village temple … they not get back…..But now nagaraja came to Lord Sundareswarar feet in Meenakshi temple ..

 Relocate Idoil

2010 , temple authority restructured Tirukkalyana Mandapam in Aadi Veedhi to accommodate more number of devotees .. at that time my dad Relocate Siddhar Idoil near Near thiruvalluvar kazhagam ...

My dad also built Veera Anjaneyar Thirukkoil in Vandiyur madurai .. The temple is situated in the banks of river Vaigai...

Parvathamalai Girivalam 2014.

Tuesday, 16th December 2014.

With the blessings of Their Holiness, the Parvathamalai Girivalam Committee of Sri Kanchi Kamakoti Peetam has organised a Girivalam to be performed on Tuesday 16th December 2014.

On the first of Margazhi month in 1944, exactly 70 years before, His Holiness Sri Chandrasekharendra Saraswathi Swamigal fondly called as Maha Periyava performed the Girivalam of Parvathamalai which is located in the Thiruvannamalai- Chengam Road. His Holiness started on foot from his camp at Kadaladi accompanied by the devotees and went round the mountain through jungles and hills and reached the camp back late in the night.

To commemorate the event the Girivalam has been organised on the first of Margazhi of each year since 2009.

All devotees are requested to participate in the event. No fees are to be paid and the Girivalam Committee will take care of all arrangements for the stay and food for the participants. The Participants are requested to assemble on the night of 15th December 2014 at M.R.Kalyanamandapam, Thenmadhimangalam, Porur Taluk. For more details pl contact:

SUMMAIRU -சும்மா இரு
சித்தர் தன் மாணவனிடம் விளக்கம் தருகிறார்.


உன்னை அறிவித்தது யார்? இந்த உலகத்தை அறிவித்தது யார்?.

என்னை அறிவித்தது எது? என்று ஆராயும்போது என்னை குனிந்து

பார்கிறேன். எனக்கு இரண்டு கைகள் இரண்டு கால்கள் மற்றும் உடம்பு இருப்பதை

அறிந்தேன். எப்படி அறிந்தேன்? யார் அறிவித்தது? என்று ஆராயும்போது அறிவு தான்

அதை உணர்த்தியது என்பதை தெரிந்துகொண்டேன். இந்த உலகத்தை அறிவித்ததும் அதே

அறிவுதான் என்பதை தெரிந்துகொண்டேன் . நான் யார் என்று ஆராயும்போது நானும்

அறிவாகவே உள்ளேன் என்பதை அறிந்துகொண்டேன். அறிவே எல்லாமாக இருக்கிறது. உலக

பொருட்கள் எல்லாம் அறிவின் தத்துவமே உண்மையில் அவை மாயையே. மாயையும்

அறிவிலேருந்து தோன்றியது. இங்கே அறிவு மட்டுமே உள்ளது. ஆகையால் மற்றவையெல்லாம்

மாயையே என்று அறிந்து சும்மா இருத்தல் சித்தி அளிக்கும். சும்மா இருத்தல்

என்பது நாம் அறிவு என்பதை உணர்ந்துகொண்டு நம்மை சுற்றி எது நடந்தாலும் அதை

பற்றி ஆராயாமல் அதில் தலையீடாமல் சும்மா இருத்தலே சும்மாயீரு ஆகும். உண்மையெய்

உணராமல் அறிவாகிய நாம் புலன்கள் வழியாக தன்னை சுற்றி இருக்கும்

மாயையை ஆராய்ந்து துன்பபட்டுகொண்டு இருக்கிறோம் அறியாமை விலகியதும் அமைதி

ஏற்படுகிறது அதிவே சும்மா இருத்தல் ஆகும். முழுமையான அறிவில் புலனுணர்வு

எல்லாம் கடந்து சும்மா இருப்பதே சுகமாகும். அங்கெ நானும் இல்லை உலகமும் இல்லை

இறைவனாகிய அறிவும் இல்லை எதுவுமே இல்லை என்பதே உண்மையாகும். நாமும் சும்மா

இருக்க முயற்சி செய்வோம்.

Karthigai Deepam Annadhanam - AN APPEAL

Dear Blessed Souls,

Appeal for annadhanam at ThriuAnnamalai Karthigai Deepam 2014
Annam = food; dhaanam = giving in charity. Thus annadhanam is giving food in charity

Service is providing assistance to others while charity is giving voluntarily to those is need.  Ideally, Service e and Charity(Seva and Dhaanam) should go together as virtues of heart  amd jamd fpr nes resi;ts/  Service must be extended with sincerity (Sharddtha) and humility (Samvidha), befitting one~s capacity (Shriya) charity must be done to the deserving.


There are three kinds of service.  Material service – helping others with material resources, physical service helping others manually, and the third, service with the mind-helping people with  good wishes, prayers etc.,.  It is obligatory for everybody including saints and seekers to be engaged in service and charity for the welfare of the humanity and to earn the blessings of the Almighty which makes one godly and helps progress in the spiritual path.

Incidentally, Annadham is easily the only act to combine service, sacrifice and charity where both the giver and the recipient are wholly satisfied. Pleasantest of all ties is the tie of willing host and satisfied guest. Just us to make things pleasant for all.

This is an appeal to all the well wishers, to donate liberally and seek blessings of Sri Arunachala.

Life History of Mahan Sri Gurulinga Swamigal

Swamigal came from Virudhachalam. On the way from Virudhachalam He toured all over South India visited many SHIVA temples and performed many miracles

Finally He visited (KARANEESVARAM) ancient and very famous Shiva temple. Drawn towards the magnificent deity, He wanted to attain JEEVA SAMADHI inside the temple.

The priest took the saint to the temple ,the saint pointed one particular place in the temple street. He asked the priest to make all the arrangements for HIS JEEVA SAMADHI. He told him he would attain JEEVA ANGA SAMADHI on the 4th somavaaram of karthigai month(December 1887) at 12:00 am. So he made all the arrangements.

But the temple priest wouldn't give him permission, so the saint silently made his way in to the river side and sat in deep trance. Soon the temple priest fell very sick with dysentry. Soon he remembered about the saint and he approached him, fell in to his knees and asked for forgiving; the saint opened his eyes and he sprinkled VIBUTHI in to the KAMANDALAM water, and he asked him to drink the water. As soon as he drank the water, he got cured.
Swamigal’s contemporary was Arut Prakasa Vallalar and their relationship being very deep.

128 years have passed in a wink of an eye. In the jeeva samadhi shrine, Swami’s blooming smile reminds us of the fact that time and death are non-existent. It is only for us to have a darshan of Him and meditate in His shrine regularly, so that our karmas drop like dead leaves, our hearts become light and our beings become pure and blissful by His compassion and sheer grace.

On the 'auspicious day' as already predicted, the saint went around the town in a long march, Blessed all the people, ANNADHAANAM was given. Exactly at 12 am the saint Blessed the devotees, Prayed to the God entered in to His SAMADHI,the devotees closed the lid and installed the Shiva lingam on the Top of the SAMADHI.
